28 Piece Floral Tea Set for Twelve: Maria-Theresia by Edelstein Bavaria
A lovely hand-painted Edelstein Bavaria set of Maria - Theresia teaware.
This set consists of a lidded teapot, creamer, lidded sugar, plate, 12 cups, and 12 saucers.
Delicate pink roses and purple and blue pansies with green foliage, grace each dish, offset by blue, pink, and gilt trim. Every piece has raised fluting around the middle and fluted lips or feet.
The bottom of each piece reads "Edelstein Bavaria Maria Theresia 2- Handgemalt" Handgemalt means hand-painted.
Each teacup is 5.5cm tall and 11cm wide, including the handle. The plate is 25cm in diameter, and the teapot is 22cm tall with the lid.
There is one very small chip on the gilt rims of two of the teacups, and minimal wear on the gilt and glaze. Crackling in the glaze of one of the handles of the sugar bowl is not structural. No cracks have been found. Overall, the set is in good condition!
