A gorgeous eight spoked ship's wheel made by the Donkin & Co. Ltd. in Newcastle-On-Tyne, on the northeast coast of England.
Brass hub and inset brass ring on a 36" mahogany wheel with a 1 1/8" shaft. Eight turned brass spokes, the topmost capped in brass.
The hub reads:

Late 19th or early 20th century.
